About

Built for Australian builders.

The Problem

Australian developers have world-class skills but no central place to find what to build that is actually relevant to Australia. Global platforms like Product Hunt and IdeaBrowser are US-centric — they surface problems shaped by American regulation, American markets, and American consumer behaviour.

A developer in Sydney trying to build something meaningful for their country has nowhere to start. ForgeLab exists to fix that.

What ForgeLab Does

We source real problems from Australian industries, government reports, ASX filings, and sector research. Every brief is grounded in evidence — not guesswork.

Market data

Each idea includes estimated market size and growth context specific to Australia.

Tech approach

We outline a credible starting point — stack, architecture, and integration requirements.

Stakeholder context

Who benefits, who buys, and what the regulatory environment looks like.

Who Built This

ForgeLab was founded by Jeremy Nan, a final-year Computer Science student at UNSW Sydney (AI Major, Finance Minor). Built part-time alongside university and a full-time job.

This is a real product solving a real gap — not a university project, not a hackathon demo. The goal is to become the go-to resource for Australian developers who want to build things that matter.
